Q. Who are “The Men of Semper Fidelis”?
A. “The Men of Semper Fidelis is an non-profit men's organization where men are bound together by friendship, knowledge, brotherhood, common goals and aspirations. “The Men of Semper Fidelis” is a unique group of men that encourage high standards; community service and assist in the building of character and leadership development among men. Members of “The Men of Semper Fidelis” share a common foundation comradeship that last a lifetime.
Q. How much time is required?
A. Members are expected to attend weekly meetings and participate in committee assignments. Beyond these obligations the time commitment that one chooses to invest in the organization is at their discretion. The majority of members enjoy the comradeship and they are eager to participate in functions, fellowship with the brotherhood and become Men of Valor (leaders). Members will get out of the organization as much as they invest.
*Guest are welcomed to partake in all open meetings to its members at their own discretion. Each meeting that a guest attends will be counted towards membership. Once he decides to become a member and makes his decision know to the general body-he will then be required to attend (4) consecutive meetings in addition to the other meetings he has attended to apply for membership.
Candidates seeking membership must attend (8) consecutive meetings. You are allowed to miss (1)meeting, if you miss more than (1) meeting due to sickness, work or school-membership selection to MSF will be at the discretion of the President.
Members & Leaders are required to attend meetings on a regular basis and pay all dues and participate in all activities given by the MSF.
Q. Do you have to pay to become a member of “The Men of Semper Fidelis”?
A. There is an annual membership fee of $25.00 for men who seek membership. Annual membership fee for leaders are $50.00. Monthly dues will be $20.00 or $5.00 a week, dues will be collected for community service, social functions and mandated projects.
Q. I’m interested in becoming a Man of Semper Fidelis, how do I go about joining?
A. The first thing an interested man should do who seeks membership into “The Men of Semper Fidelis” is to attend weekly meetings and get acquainted with the men who are already members. Successful candidates should possess the principles of Honor, Courage, Manhood, Perseverance, Uplifter and Commitment. Community service is a big part of being a“Man of Semper Fidelis. You must have a passion to become a friend to your brother and a desire to help those less fortunate than yourself.
*Weekly meetings and membership are opened to all men and boys of all ages. We do not discriminate against any race, creed or religious faith, all are welcomed.
